Announcement of former MNA Ayesha Rajab of PML-N to contest elections as an independent.

LAHORE: Ayesha Rajab Ali Khan, a former Member of the National Assembly from the Pakistan Muslim League (N), has declared her intention to run as an independent candidate in the upcoming elections for NA-97.

In her statement, she emphasized the numerous sacrifices made by Rajab Ali Khan for the party, highlighting her active participation in various party activities such as meetings and corner gatherings. Despite her significant contributions and efforts to mobilize the party on the grassroots level, she expressed feeling neglected and overlooked by the party leadership.

The announcement was made in response to the party’s decision to overlook her for candidacy in the upcoming elections. Ayesha Rajab Ali Khan affirmed her decision to contest the elections independently, specifically targeting Constituency NA-97 in Tandlianwala.
