The caretaker federal government has announced that the price of petrol will remain unchanged for the next 15 days, as per a statement released by the Ministry of Finance.
Reportedly, there will be no increase or decrease in the price of petrol, but adjustments have been made to reduce the prices of diesel, kerosene, and light diesel.
As per the official notification, the petrol price will stay at 281.34 rupees per liter, while high-speed diesel will see an increase of 7 rupees, kerosene oil an increase of 3.82 rupees, and light diesel an increase of 4.52 rupees per liter. Consequently, high-speed diesel, kerosene, and light diesel oil will be priced at 289.71, 201.16, and 175.93 rupees per liter, respectively, after the reduction.
These revised prices for petroleum products will be effective for the next 15 days starting from December 1.
