Arif Yusuf, the former legal advisor of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has been taken into custody in Peshawar. An Anti-Terrorism Court in Peshawar held a session on May 9 to review Arif Yusuf’s request for interim bail.
He had been implicated in a case involving vandalism, arson, and disturbances that occurred on May 9 and 10. The court denied his application for interim bail, leading to his immediate arrest right from the courtroom. The charges against him, including vandalism, arson, and creating a disturbance, were filed at Khan Raziq police station, with his direct involvement detailed in the FIR (First Information Report).
