Army Chief; Armed forces are always ready to thwart any aggression.

In Islamabad, Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir affirmed Pakistan’s armed forces’ continual readiness to repel any aggression.

At an induction and operationalization ceremony at a Pakistan Air Force base, General Munir commended Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu’s leadership and praised the Air Force’s modernization with advanced weapon systems.

Stressing self-reliance and human resource development, the Army Chief endorsed the Air Force’s dedication to technological advancement and operational excellence. He assured that Pakistan’s Armed Forces stand prepared to thwart aggression and emphasized the importance of being well-equipped.

Air Chief Marshal Sidhu welcomed General Munir to the ceremony, showcasing new defense assets added to the Pakistan Air Force fleet. The event highlighted the induction of J-10C fighter jets, ‘C-130H,’ Airbus-319, Boeing 737, Piper M-600, BKA-350 I air mobility platforms, and other cutting-edge weapons.

The Air Chief underscored the Air Force’s strengthened air defense capabilities through the integration of latest radars, unmanned aerial systems, including Baraktar Akanchi, TB2, Shahpar-2, and long-range vectors, including loitering munitions. Plans for acquiring J-31 stealth fighter aircraft were also mentioned, signifying future enhancements to the Air Force’s capabilities.

He discussed the Air Force’s proactive measures in developing human resources, revamping training, and bolstering local capabilities to meet modern warfare challenges. Additionally, new infrastructure like the Center of Excellence for Manned Aerial Systems and Aviation Safety reflects the Air Force’s commitment to staying abreast of evolving war dynamics.

Highlighting the significance of the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park, the Air Chief stressed its role in Pakistan’s technological and economic advancement. He reiterated the Air Force’s commitment to adopting specific technologies independently and swiftly, apart from relying on friendly nations.

The Air Force’s vision aims at establishing a next-generation, formidable air force. Ensuring the country’s defense remains impregnable, the Air Chief outlined progress made in cyber and space sectors, expressing gratitude for the Army Chief’s unwavering support in the Air Force’s modernization efforts.

The ceremony concluded with a captivating air show featuring various fighter jets, training aircraft, and UAVs, followed by a static display showcasing the new additions to the Pakistan Air Force’s air fleet.
