During his visit to a field exercise near Rahim Yar Khan, General Asim Munir was briefed on Exercise Shamsher Sahar, witnessing a range of coordinated drills encompassing armor, infantry, mechanized infantry, artillery, air defense, and anti-tank guided missiles. Pakistan Air Force aircraft also took part in the maneuvers.
Spending the entire day with the soldiers, General Asim Munir reiterated the unwavering commitment of Pakistan’s armed forces to safeguard the nation’s integrity and sovereignty, underscoring the vital role of national support.
In his interactions with participating soldiers, the Army Chief commended the high training standards, operational readiness, and morale across all ranks. The objective of Shamsher Sahar was to bolster professional capabilities and adeptness in battlefield protocols, essential for addressing forthcoming challenges in operational settings.
