In an address at the historic “Pakistan National Youth Conference” held at the Jinnah Convention Center in Islamabad, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir emphasized that Pakistan remains steadfast in protecting its sovereignty. Addressing the gathering of aspiring youth, he expressed his delight in speaking to the future leaders of Pakistan, referring to them as the architects and Shaheen (eagles) of Iqbal.
General Munir underscored that the creation of Pakistan was rooted in the distinct religious, cultural, and civilizational differences with Hindus. According to him, the youth play a crucial role as the custodians of the bright traditions and dreams envisioned by Iqbal and Quaid.

Quoting from the Holy Quran, he reminded the audience of the directive to investigate news brought by wrongdoers.
Drawing parallels between the establishment of Pakistan and the State of Tayyaba, General Munir pointed out their shared foundation on the word. He acknowledged Pakistan’s abundant blessings, including vast mineral resources, agricultural wealth, and a young and capable workforce.
