The Election Commission has unveiled the timetable for the upcoming presidential election, with polling scheduled for March 9.
Per the election schedule, the deadline for submitting nomination papers is March 2 at noon, with scrutiny slated for March 4 at 10 am.
Withdrawal of nomination papers is permitted until noon on March 5, followed by the publication of the candidate list at 1 pm on the same day. Polling will take place from 10 am to 4 pm.
It’s worth noting that National Assembly members were sworn in yesterday, and today features a secret ballot for the election of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker.
