A significant alteration has been introduced to the playing conditions for the Asia Cup Super Four match between Pakistan and India. As reported by Media,
the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has modified the regulations and included a reserve day for the highly anticipated encounter between these traditional rivals.
Scheduled for September 10, the knockout clash between Pakistan and India will now have a provision for continuation on September 11 in case it gets disrupted due to rain. This adjustment was prompted by persistent rain concerns in Colombo, and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had repeatedly expressed reservations about the original scheduling.
In the event that the match extends into the second day, both teams will find themselves in the unique situation of playing two matches concurrently. It’s worth noting that the initial group match for both teams had been washed out, resulting in both teams receiving one point each.
