In Islamabad, Federal Minister Attaullah Tarar has assumed his duties in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Upon his arrival at the Ministry, he was warmly welcomed by Federal Secretary Shaheera Shahid and other senior officials. Addressing the gathering, Tarar emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to maintaining an open dialogue with the journalist community. He stressed the importance of fostering positive and constructive journalism nationwide, as well as enhancing the government-media relationship.
Tarar pledged to collaborate closely with the media to effectively communicate the government’s initiatives and policies to the public, recognizing the media’s crucial role as a bridge between the government and the people.
It is worth noting that Attaullah Tarar, a member of the Pakistan Muslim League (N), represents constituency NA-127 Lahore in the National Assembly. Following his oath-taking ceremony at the President’s House, he has officially assumed the role of Federal Minister in the Ministry of Information.
