Maryam Nawaz, the Vice President and Central Organizer of the Pakistan Muslim League (N), observed the fifth anniversary of her mother’s passing, Ms. Kulsoom Nawaz.
On this occasion, a gathering was held in Raiwind, where Quranic recitations and Fatiha prayers were offered to seek forgiveness and a high status for the deceased.
Members of the Sharif family took part in the ceremony, and Maryam Nawaz paid her respects by visiting the graves of her mother, Kulsoom Nawaz, and other family elders at the ancestral cemetery. She also placed flowers and recited Fatiha.
Begum Kulsoom Nawaz had passed away in London on September 11, 2018, following a prolonged illness
