Australian Foreign Minister accuses India of targeting Sikhs

Canberra: Australian Foreign Minister accused India of targeting Sikhs in Canada.

In a meeting with Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar during his visit to Australia, Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong expressed concern over the targeting of Sikhs in Canada.

Penny Wong said that other people, including the Sikh community, have the right to safe haven and respect in Australia, we respect Canada’s judicial process and demand a fair and transparent investigation into these incidents.

Penny Wong added that Australia has a principled stance on issues such as the rule of law, the independence of the judiciary and the sovereignty of all countries.

Canada is not the only country to accuse Indian officials of conspiring to kill on foreign soil.

According to international media, Indian intelligence agencies were given a list containing the names of several Sikh leaders, including Canadian citizen Hardeep Singh Nagar. The Canadian government said after an investigation that the killing of Hardeep Singh was ordered by Indian intelligence.

India has a long history of acts of sabotage and terrorism in other countries. The secret agency “RAW”‘s global terrorism and target killing terrorist plans are proving to be disastrous not only for this region but for the entire world.
