Senior film and TV actress Sahiba said in an interview that she was not only severely criticized online for being thankful for not having daughters, but her character was also tarnished and bad prayers were given to sons.
Sahiba further said that the meaning of being thankful for not having daughters was taken wrongly. This was done by looking at the current situation and the problems faced by the daughters. Even today in the society, daughters are not allowed to fulfill their wishes.
If they want to study, they are discouraged and those who want to become doctors are blocked. In the interview, Sahiba’s husband Rambo said that even before the birth of children, Sahiba used to cry thinking about her daughter because as a mother she could not bear the suffering of her daughters bravely.
