Islamabad’s Anti-Terrorism Court has revoked bail in three cases involving Imran Khan, Chairman PTI, under charges related to terrorism. The court, presided over by Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain, rendered a verdict after considering the cases against the former Prime Minister. Imran Khan’s bail plea was rejected in his absence for all three cases.
It’s worth noting that two cases were filed against Imran Khan at Khanna police station, while another was registered at Bahara Kahu police station. The Anti-Terrorism Court’s decision to deny bail was based on Imran Khan’s non-appearance.
Earlier, the Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore declined Imran Khan’s request for exemption from personal appearance in seven cases and also dismissed his bail application.
Additionally, in a separate case involving a corruption charge of 190 million pounds, the Accountability Court in Islamabad had already turned down Imran Khan’s bail plea in the previous week.
