An explosion occurred during a workers’ convention of JUI (F) in Bajaur, Khyber Agency. The incident took place near Dubai Mor in Khar area while the JUI meeting was underway.
As soon as the explosion was reported, the police and aid agencies rushed to the scene to assist the injured. The police are currently investigating the cause of the blast at the JUI(F) workers’ convention.
DIG Malakund stated that information about the incident is still being gathered, and the area has been cordoned off by law enforcement agencies. Aid sources confirmed that at least 35 people have been injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
