The Islamabad High Court convened to address the Baloch student recovery case, but Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq didn’t attend despite the court’s summons.
Present in the court were Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti, Caretaker Human Rights Minister Khalil George, and families of the missing Baloch individuals.
The focus was on implementing the recommendations of the Baloch Students Recovery Commission. The court disclosed that 69 students were reported missing. The Attorney General explained the Prime Minister’s absence, citing his overseas commitment. He also noted that 22 Baloch students had been found while 28 remained missing. The commitment was made to continue efforts for the recovery of all missing individuals.
