Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, asserted that all cases against Imran Khan were handled in an unconstitutional manner, with the Supreme Court now taking notice.
Addressing the media, he emphasized that during a meeting with PTI, certain documents related to the general elections were taken by the founder.
Barrister Gohar Khan urged the courts to promptly address the judicial proceedings in all cases against Imran Khan, emphasizing the judiciary’s crucial role in ensuring fair trials. He stressed that whether at the Supreme Court, High Court, or trial court level, any unconstitutional or illegal conduct during trials must be addressed by the judiciary.
Furthermore, he disclosed his approach to the court seeking permission to consult with the PTI founder regarding the Senate election, highlighting the importance of upholding fundamental rights. Simultaneously, Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court to meet the PTI founder, with relevant authorities being included as parties to the petition.
The petition requests permission for Chairman PTI Gohar Ali Khan, Secretary General Umar Ayub, and Secretary Shibli Faraz to meet the PTI founder. Orders have been sought to ensure Adiala Jail authorities facilitate this meeting.
