Chairman of PTI, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, emphasized that the appointment of the Public Accounts Committee chairman will be decided by tomorrow, contrary to current delays.
Addressing the media outside Adiala Jail alongside Sher Afzal Marwat, Barrister Gohar revealed a comprehensive discussion with the PTI’s founder within the jail premises today. Notably, several lawyers were denied entry.
He underscored that the PTI founder clarified during the meeting that no party leader was instructed regarding negotiations, and clandestine talks were not underway.
Highlighting a perceived disparity in treatment, Barrister Gohar juxtaposed the forgiveness of Nawaz Sharif’s cases with alleged injustices faced by the PTI founder in fabricated cases, signaling a biased stance by the authorities.
Sher Afzal echoed the sentiment, citing Imran Khan’s assertion that Ishaq Dar served as Nawaz Sharif’s proxy, leading to his appointment as Deputy Prime Minister. He added that the finalization of names, including the consideration of individuals who left the party, is slated for tomorrow.
