In Islamabad, according to Dunya News, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has initiated the implementation of a new plan if the ‘batsman’ is not on the field! In a significant move, PTI has instructed its candidates to submit PTI ideological tickets.
The party has communicated to all candidates, urging them to submit their PTI ideological tickets to the office of the Returning Officers. Candidates are instructed that if they face any hindrance in submitting their tickets, or if the police or RO obstruct the process, they should promptly email a complaint to the District, Provincial, and Central Election Commission.
The party’s guidelines emphasize that in case of non-submission of the ticket or any obstruction, candidates should file a written complaint with the District and Provincial Election Commissioner, seek assistance from the police, lodge a petition in the High Court, and share evidence and applications on social media, all of which should be sent to the party.
In accordance with these instructions, PTI candidates have commenced the submission of tickets reflecting the party’s ideology. It is noteworthy that the PTI ideologue’s election symbol is the “batsman.” Akhtar Dar, the chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf, registered a separate party due to internal differences within the party.
