Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Peoples Party, highlighted the alarming rise of divisive politics in the nation during his address in Hyderabad.
He emphasized that some individuals are perpetuating a climate of animosity and division, which needs to be countered. Stressing the importance of unity, he asserted that victory can only be achieved through collective strength, thwarting the divisive forces. Recognizing and embracing the unique cultures and histories of different regions, he advocated for inclusive ownership for all residents of the country.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari underscored the potential for enhancing regional cultures and histories, citing how Sindh has managed to curtail extremism through the promotion of its rich cultural heritage. He reiterated the PPP’s capacity to unify diverse groups and urged concerted efforts to steer the country in a more positive direction. He warned of the grave consequences if this collective effort falls short, cautioning against a future where youth once again become vulnerable to crime and substance abuse.
