Larkana: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the People’s Party, remarked that a significant number of independent candidates are actively participating in the upcoming elections, emphasizing the importance of empowering the youth to make their own decisions.
In an interview with the British news agency Reuters in Larkana, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari highlighted the unprecedented involvement of independent candidates in the elections. He made it clear that he has chosen not to form alliances with either the PML-N or PTI for the February 8 elections. Instead, if successful, he expressed a preference for establishing a government with independent candidates.
When asked about the alleged support from the military establishment to the PML-N, the former foreign minister commented that Nawaz Sharif appears to be relying on external factors rather than the trust of the Pakistani people to secure his fourth term as prime minister.
