ISLAMABAD: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that the Greek Coast Guard committed injustice by not saving the drowning people.
Khawaja Asif while speaking in the National Assembly said that there is little to express the sorrow over the boat accident in Greece, many families were destroyed, the Coast Guard of Greece was cruel.
They did not save the drowning people. The defense minister said that this process started in the 70s when people started going out for employment, with this process illegal work started, children go out due to lack of employment in the country.
He said that people fall into the hands of traffickers due to compulsion, strictest action should be taken against human traffickers, human trafficking is a national problem and it should be stopped.
Khawaja Asif said that the government and the opposition must work together against this, strict action should be taken against such people, their networks are also in Turkey and Libya and other countries.
