Bushra Bibi has submitted a separate petition to the Islamabad High Court concerning the investigation by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in the alleged audio leak case.
In her petition against the FIA’s investigation, it is contended that the primary case is already under consideration by this court. On September 18, the court instructed the FIA to initiate legal proceedings, and the main case is scheduled for a hearing on October 30. Despite this ongoing case, the FIA issued a summons notice on September 19.
The petition seeks the court’s intervention to issue an order suspending the FIA’s notice while the main case is still pending. Continuing the FIA’s proceedings would potentially impinge on the petitioner’s rights.
