The Anti-Terrorism Court in Islamabad has granted Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, interim bail in the case related to vandalism at the judicial complex.

Gandapur’s lawyer, Raja Zahoorul Hasan, argued that while his client is mentioned in the FIR, he wasn’t present during the incident, making his involvement irrelevant.

Hasan stated that despite 50 FIRs against Gandapur, he has been unable to reach the court.

The court has extended interim bail until April 17, requiring a deposit of 50,000 rupees. Earlier, a petitioner claimed that Gandapur was falsely implicated in the FIR, asserting his willingness to cooperate with the investigation.

Arrest warrants issued against Gandapur in cases from Bani Gala and Golra police stations were also canceled upon his lawyer’s request, citing election engagements. The hearings for these cases have been adjourned until April 17.
