India’s stubborn refusal to participate in the Champions Trophy has put ICC in trouble.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) will respond to the PCB after consulting the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on the non-participation of the Indian cricket team in the Champions Trophy. The ICC has contacted the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in this regard.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also started contacting other boards on the Indian position so that they can be informed about the Indian board’s behavior.
It should be noted that Pakistan is steadfast in its stance of opposing the hybrid model, while India’s decision not to send the team to Pakistan has increased the ICC’s difficulties.
According to sources, it is not possible to get an immediate response from the ICC to the PCB’s email, it will take a few days to prepare a response. After Pakistan gave concrete reasons for the Indian team’s refusal in the email, the ICC has now contacted the Indian Cricket Board, in which they have been asked to discuss the PCB’s questions and possible answers so that the Pakistan Cricket Board’s email can be answered.
According to reports, the Indian board will give its written position keeping in mind all the legal aspects, in the light of which the ICC will send a reply email to the Pakistan Cricket Board. ICC officials are also consulting with other countries on the Pakistan-India issue so that a lasting solution to this issue can be found.
