International Cricket Council (ICC) chief executive Jeff Allardyce has confirmed that there are no plans to move the Champions Trophy 2025 to Pakistan.
ICC Chief Executive Jeff Allardyce has assured that no team has expressed any reluctance to play in the tournament, all teams are committed to playing in Pakistan.
He said that ICC visits all member countries including Pakistan for successful organization of events.
It should be noted that a five-to-six-member ICC delegation will visit Pakistan next week to review the arrangements for the Champions Trophy to inspect the proposed venues.
The delegation will hold meetings with PCB officials on practice matches of the teams, ticketing and other important issues, which will include heads and representatives of various departments.
8 teams will participate in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 scheduled in Pakistan which includes India, Australia, New Zealand, England, South Africa, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
Pakistan is the defending champion of the Champions Trophy, in 2017 the Green Shirts won the title by defeating India in the final of the event.
