Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party has once again called for the establishment of a high-powered judicial commission following the release of diplomatic communications on an American news website.
In an official statement from the party, the focus was placed on the significance of the report’s release, which lends credibility to Chairman PTI Imran Khan’s statements.
For this reason, PTI has urged the judicial commission to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the Cipher case and subsequently disclose its findings to the public.
The party’s spokesperson highlighted that the revelations from the report suggest a conspiracy involving the ousting of Imran Khan’s government through a no-confidence motion.
Notably, The Intercept, an American website, published the contents of the cipher, asserting in their report that American influence might have played a role in the removal of Chairman PTI’s government via the cipher, as an American diplomat had insinuated that success in a no-confidence motion against Imran Khan would lead to absolution.
