Quetta: Sarfraz Bugti, the Chief Minister of Balochistan, has highlighted the escalating issue of disappearances, emphasizing the challenge in identifying missing individuals.
During a press conference in Quetta, Chief Minister Bugti, accompanied by fellow ministers, stated that the Interior Minister has been tasked with devising a strategy to address the law and order situation in Balochistan. Additionally, a parliamentary committee will be established to address concerns regarding law and order, ensuring the inclusion of opposition members.
Bugti emphasized the comprehensive approach of the special committee in addressing the Balochistan issue, aiming to formulate a well-rounded policy.
Regarding missing persons, Bugti acknowledged it as a significant challenge, noting that approximately 80% of cases have been resolved. He cautioned against assigning blame to institutions involved in missing persons’ cases, citing the complexity of identifying those who are missing.
Bugti also pointed out the involvement of groups allegedly supported by RAW in perpetrating violence, along with separatist terrorists receiving support from Afghanistan.
