Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, has issued a stern warning to both the federal and Punjab governments, urging them to halt their current course of action.
In a recent video statement, he emphasized that failure to comply would result in severe consequences for their ability to govern.
Gandapur asserted that the current leadership in Punjab, particularly Maryam Nawaz, attained power through illegitimate means, dubbing their government as counterfeit with no genuine mandate from the people. He criticized the numerous false FIRs filed against him and his party workers, condemning the unjust incarcerations that have transpired.
Expressing defiance, Gandapur challenged authorities to arrest him if they dare, asserting the unwavering support of the people of his province. He warned against the government’s interference in inter-provincial matters, citing the registration of treason cases against prominent figures like Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari in DI Khan.
In a final ultimatum, Gandapur cautioned that this would be the last warning for both the Punjab and federal governments to cease their actions. Should they persist, he vowed that they would face the resolute resistance of his province.
