NAB is considering taking disciplinary action against former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar for non-cooperation.
NAB has summoned Usman Buzdar for the 10th time in the disproportionate assets inquiry. It should be noted that despite repeated summons for investigation by NAB, Usman Buzdar has appeared only 2 times.
NAB summons notices have been sent to his Lahore and native residence DG Khan. NAB is investigating against Usman Buzdar for creating assets worth more than 9 billion.
Usman Buzdar has not yet provided the complete details on the asset declaration proforma to NAB, which is a matter of concern to the NAB team.
Apart from this, as an important development against the former Chief Minister of Punjab, NAB has also requested the details of all the projects of the Usman Buzdar era from the C&W department till June 5.
Disciplinary action is also being considered. The NAB team last summoned Usman Buzdar on May 30, but he did not appear due to illness.
