Imran Khan, the Chairman of PTI, and Fawad Chaudhry are slated to face trial in the Election Commission defamation case within the confines of Adiala Jail.
The Election Commission delivered a favorable ruling on the contempt trial involving Tehreek-e-Insaf and Fawad Chaudhry.
The hearing for the case against Imran Khan and Fawad Chaudhry is scheduled for December 13 at Adiala Jail. The Ministry of Interior made a request for their trial in jail, which the Election Commission upheld after considering the Law Ministry’s opinion. The Election Commission has instructed the Interior Ministry to ensure arrangements are completed within 48 hours and submit a report accordingly.
