A nationwide crackdown has been initiated against electricity and gas theft in Islamabad. Under the directives of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, special teams have been established to combat these illegal activities. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has been tasked by the Home Minister to play a significant role in this endeavor.
During a meeting chaired by the Interior Minister in Islamabad, FIA officials presented a comprehensive report on the Yunnan boat accident. Minister Naqvi emphasized the necessity of bringing all responsible parties to justice in connection with this tragic incident. He stressed the importance of taking decisive action against human traffickers to eliminate this menace.
Furthermore, it was highlighted in the meeting that crackdowns on individuals implicated in the Handi reference have positively impacted the value of the Pakistani rupee. The Home Minister directed the FIA to intensify efforts against those associated with the Handi reference. The meeting was attended by the Home Secretary, Additional DGs, and Directors from all regions across Pakistan.
