Despite Naseem Shah’s absence, Pakistan possesses a formidable pace bowling lineup for World Cup.

Mohali: Despite the absence of Naseem Shah, Pakistan’s pace bowling lineup for the World Cup appears to be getting stronger.

During the first ODI between Australia and India, former Indian cricketer Amit Mishra was asked by reporters whether Pakistan would be at a disadvantage in the World Cup match against India due to Naseem’s injury.

In response, Mishra acknowledged that Naseem Shah is an experienced fast bowler who will be missed, but he expressed the view that Pakistan’s fast bowling department hasn’t weakened significantly. According to Mishra, the current pressing concerns for the team revolve around their spinners and batsmen rather than the pacers. The fast bowlers, in his opinion, are still a formidable asset for Pakistan.
