Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Chairman of the People’s Party, asserted that a certain party is disclosing the election date, indicating that only they possess knowledge about a potential February election date, leaving both you, me, and the Election Commission in the dark.
While addressing supporters in Muzaffargarh, Bilawal mentioned that in the 2018 elections, three People’s Party candidates emerged victorious in Muzaffargarh, and this time, they are hopeful for the success of five candidates. He recalled their campaign against Imran Khan, highlighting Muzaffargarh’s support, which they used to send the selected Prime Minister packing.
He also emphasized the country’s economic woes, criticizing policies that seemed to benefit the elites, capitalists, and tycoons. He advocated for facilitating the common man instead of providing subsidies to the wealthy, asserting that this approach would bolster the economy.
Bilawal Bhutto reiterated that his party has never shied away from elections and has always been upfront with the people. He expressed confidence that the People’s Party would once again come to power in the near future, emphasizing the need for prompt elections. He revealed that the People’s Party’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) would convene a meeting to determine their action plan regarding the upcoming elections.
