The Election Commission of Pakistan has launched the Election Monitoring and Control Center (EMCC) to assist the public during the upcoming 2024 general elections.
As per the Commission’s spokesperson, this center allows the public to lodge complaints related to the elections, ensuring prompt resolution. Trained staff are on standby to address these concerns effectively.
For ease of accessibility, the EMCC operates at four levels: provincial, divisional, district, and the Election Commission Secretariat in Islamabad.
Individuals can register complaints regarding the general elections via email at complaints@ecp.gov.pk or through WhatsApp at 0327-5050610. Additionally, a dedicated helpline, 111-327-000, has been established for further assistance.
Initially, the EMCC’s operating hours are from 8 am to 6 pm. However, starting mid-January 2024 until the polling day on February 8 and the subsequent receipt of results, the center will operate round-the-clock.
The center is equipped with social media and electronic media monitoring capabilities. Complaints can also be submitted via fax at 051-9204403.
