Social platform Twitter has temporarily set limits on tweet reading, announcing a new policy aimed at preventing the use of the platform’s data by artificial intelligence.
Twitter owner Elon Musk announced through his tweet that blue tick users will be able to read 10,000 tweets in a day, users with unverified accounts will be able to read 1,000 tweets in a day.
Whereas for new users coming to Twitter, the tweet reading limit will be only 500 tweets.
Elon Musk said in a tweet that the decision was made to combat data theft and system manipulation through third-party platforms.
He added that setting a tweet reading limit is an important step to prevent such problems.

However, the billionaire owner of Twitter did not disclose information regarding how many days this policy will be in effect and which organizations are stealing the data.
A day ago, Elon Musk announced that it will no longer be possible to read any type of tweet without a Twitter account.
He had said that most of the data theft was being done by companies that were using it to create artificial intelligence models, due to which Twitter was facing problems.
After the introduction of AI chatbot, many companies are introducing real-life conversion programs from social media sites.
Elon Musk said that hundreds of organizations are trying to steal Twitter’s data due to which common users are facing difficulty in using the platform.
He said that almost every company working under AI is trying to eliminate data at scale.
It should be noted that Twitter is not the only social media platform that is facing problems due to the AI sector.
Last month, the social news platform ‘Reddit’ increased the fees imposed on third-party developers.
