Islamabad: The European Union has pledged 1 million Euros in assistance for the flood-affected individuals in Pakistan.
The European Union has unveiled a fresh aid package of 1 million euros aimed at aiding those impacted by the recent torrential rains in Pakistan.
Additionally, European Union Commissioner for Crisis Management, Jens Lennarc, has stated, “We are allocating 1 million euros in humanitarian aid to address the consequences of the monsoon floods in Pakistan.”
He went on to explain that this flood event has, once again, rendered thousands of people homeless in certain regions of the country. A year following the historic floods in Pakistan, the European Union remains steadfast in its commitment to aiding the most disadvantaged communities.
