Faisal Vawda; Cork Commanders’ Conference Declaration, Delayed Correct.

Bushra Bibi is coming out as a result of 100% deal, Faisal Vawda

In Islamabad, former Senator Faisal Vawda emphasized the importance of the recent Commanders’ Conference declaration and the firm stance taken by the military, expressing regret that such action wasn’t taken sooner.

He criticized political parties for unjustly tarnishing the institution’s image over the past decade. Vawda stressed the need for addressing grievances through proper channels, such as referring complaints against judges to the Supreme Judicial Council and addressing army-related issues internally rather than resorting to social media campaigns.

He applauded the army’s stance as crucial for Pakistan’s independence and survival, advocating for accountability for those responsible for attacks on military establishments. Vawda also affirmed the authenticity of the May 9 incident and the attack on Imran Khan, urging against dismissing them as mere theatrics.

He called for expediting trials, citing delays in cases like the Bhutto investigation, and advocated for fair and swift justice. Regarding the allocation of reserved seats, Vawda suggested that while it may be a legal matter, it’s morally inappropriate for any particular party to claim ownership over them. He speculated on a potential Supreme Court ruling regarding the reserved seats, predicting a middle ground where they may not be awarded to any party due to procedural lapses.
