The inauguration of the election office for UC 46 was led by the United National Movement Pakistan Nazimabad Town.
During the opening ceremony, Senior Deputy Convenor Dr. Farooq Sattar addressed attendees, highlighting the challenging conditions prevalent in the interior areas of Sindh, particularly Karachi. He emphasized that the progress of Karachi directly impacts the entirety of Pakistan and Islamabad. Failure by Pakistan’s leaders to address the fundamental issues in this city could impede the nation’s development.

Additionally, Dr. Farooq Sattar remarked on the forthcoming opportunity to re-establish the MQM. While the party faced setbacks in 2018, he expressed confidence in securing all 22 seats in Karachi this time. He highlighted concerns about potential conflict over mandates and promised to redirect government employment from dissatisfied factions to deserving individuals within the city.
Furthermore, Dr. Farooq Sattar hinted at positive developments preceding the elections, suggesting the return of missing colleagues. He expressed hope for Sindhi-speaking individuals to gain freedom from existing constraints and stressed the necessity of complete autonomy for local governments.
