In Lahore, the anti-terrorism court has declined to grant bail to Fawad Chaudhry and Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
In the case related to the arson incident at the Muslim League House in Model Town, Judge Abhar Gul of the Anti-Terrorism Court has rejected Fawad Chaudhry’s temporary bail due to his absence.
Simultaneously, in the May 9 tragedy cases, Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Abhar Gul has issued an order to revoke the bail of Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Fawad Chaudhry during the verdict announcement. The court justified this decision on the basis of non-compliance.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s bail has been revoked in the cases pertaining to Model Town police station, namely 366/23 and 367/23, while Fawad Chaudhry’s bail has also been denied in the Model Town police station cases 366/23 and 367/23.
