In Lahore, unidentified individuals fired shots at the residence of private TV anchor Iqrarul Hasan in the Defense area, situated in Punjab’s capital.
The incident involved consecutive gunshots aimed at Iqrarul Hasan’s house within a short interval before the perpetrators fled the scene.
Law enforcement promptly responded to the situation, confirming no casualties or injuries. Hasan stated that a similar shooting incident occurred two days prior and has filed a report with the local police station.
Police discovered 9 mm pistol casings near Hasan’s residence. Superintendent Cantt, Owais Shafiq, mentioned ongoing investigations and the utilization of CCTV footage to aid in identifying the culprits.
