According to media reports, with only 2 months and 15 days left for the retirement of Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, the federal government is busy manipulating the next election commission to select a new head.
Some of the possible names in the list include retired Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa and other former judges.
According to the report, retired Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa is likely to become the next head of the Chief Election Commissioner.
It should be noted that the current Chief Election Commissioner Raja Sultan will retire from his post at the end of January next year and the former Chief Justice retired on October 25 last month.
