
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar expressed concerns over the escalating conflict in Gaza, warning that if the bombings persist, it could spiral into a larger regional conflict. Pakistan advocates for a two-state solution for Palestine and strongly condemns Israel’s targeting of civilians.
Addressing the Kashmir issue, he highlighted India’s human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir, emphasizing that regional peace hinges on resolving this longstanding issue based on UN resolutions. The Prime Minister stressed that Kashmiris view Kashmir as an integral part of Pakistan.
Regarding Afghan immigrants in Pakistan, he stated Pakistan’s decision to address political, social, and security challenges by repatriating illegal immigrants. He emphasized the importance of abiding by the law and addressing the presence of undocumented refugees while acknowledging Pakistan’s responsibilities towards refugees without proper identification.
