
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that neither General Asim Munir showed me any evidence of my wife’s corruption nor did I force him to resign on this basis.
In his tweet, the former prime minister, referring to an article published in the British newspaper Telegraph, denied the claim made in it that the then DGISI General Asim had given him evidence of corruption of his wife Bushra Bibi.
(cases) after which he was removed from the post of DGISI. It should be noted that an article by Ben Farmer has been published in the Telegraph on May 21, in which it is claimed that General Asim Munir had shown Imran Khan evidence of his wife’s corruption.
According to the article, General Asim Muniras wanted to investigate allegations of corruption against then Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi and her close associates, after which he was sacked as DGISI in June 2019 for eight months.
