Google has announced the removal of photos from the ‘Album Archive’

SAN FRANCISCO: Until a few years ago, there was a very popular Google Chat tool called Hangouts. Now Google has announced that the photos and documents you shared on it will be removed by next month.

Photos associated with Google Hangouts are stored in an album archive that you can share at any time in a location.

Countless people have now received an email from Google asking them to download and save album archive photos, as they will be deleted by July 19.

Similarly, users can also create backups on Google Takeout. Google also said that the background or comments etc. written in Hangout will also be removed.

But remember that the alternate takeout link provided by Google will only work for seven days. In the meantime, album archive photos will have to be saved elsewhere. However, Google Photos will not be affected.
