Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, has expressed his commitment to assisting the Sunni Unity Council government in improving the province. He stated that if the Chief Minister is unable to meet him, he will take the initiative to visit the Chief Minister himself.
In Islamabad, Governor Kundi emphasized that he is non-political and refrains from engaging in political discussions. He underscored the importance of maintaining communication.
He mentioned that Aftab Khan has met with leaders from Sherpao, JUI, and other political parties, with their focus on economic issues and law and order.
The governor affirmed the Sunni Ittehad Council’s right to complete development projects in the province and pledged his support to their government. He also declared that the Governor’s House is open to everyone, including the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. If the Chief Minister cannot come to him, he will personally go to the Chief Minister to promote the welfare of the province.
Governor Kundi assured that he will not create discord between the federal government and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government but will instead act as a bridge to foster closer relations between the province and the center. He committed to securing the province’s fair share from the center regarding load shedding and economic issues in KPK.
