KARACHI: State Bank Governor Jameel Ahmed has said that Sharia principles will not be forcibly applied to banking, in this case the business interests of banks will also be taken into consideration.
Addressing this, the Governor State Bank said that developing banking on Sharia basis is the top priority of the State Bank, it will be implemented with business attractiveness, it will not be applied forcefully, taking into account the business interests of the banks.
