President Asif Ali Zardari received a guard of honor from the armed forces of Pakistan at the Presidential Palace in Islamabad.
The National Anthem was played during this ceremony. In attendance were Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Asifa Bhutto, and Bakhtawar Bhutto.
President Zardari arrived at the President’s House in a traditional presidential carriage, where he was again honored with a guard of honor by the armed forces. Additionally, the president has chosen to designate his daughter as the first lady.
