Sources reveal that Imran Khan instructed opposition leader Umar Ayub to propose Raza’s nomination. Initially, Shira Fazl Marwat was nominated by PTI as the PAC Chairman.
Opposition members Zain Qureshi, Sher Afzal Marwat, and Hamid Raza met with the Speaker of the National Assembly to discuss matters concerning the formation of parliamentary committees. During the meeting, the opposition recommended Hamid Raza as the Chairman of PAC to the Speaker.
Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq stated that the election of the PAC Chairman would adhere to the rules, emphasizing the importance of resolving the matter through parliamentary committees with mutual understanding.
Additionally, the opposition delegation held discussions with the parliamentary leader of Muslim League-N, Khawaja Asif.
