Health Minister; Hundreds of Pakistani doctors are ready to go to Gaza.

In Islamabad, Caretaker Federal Health Minister Nadeem Jan announced that a considerable number of Pakistani doctors are prepared to offer their services in Gaza. During a press briefing alongside Caretaker Information and Broadcasting Minister Murtaza Solangi in the nation’s capital, Minister Nadeem Jan highlighted the commitment of these doctors, expressing their willingness to assist the people of Gaza even at the risk of their lives.

Emphasizing Pakistan’s firm stance on the Gaza issue, Minister Jan mentioned having a pool of 500 doctors eager to extend their support. He underscored the Prime Minister’s vocal support for Gaza, affirming Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the affected individuals.

The ministers also discussed the significance of the inaugural Global Health Summit, an event of pride for Pakistan. They indicated that the Gaza situation would be a key topic at this conference. Additionally, Minister Jan addressed Pakistan’s aspiration to commence vaccine development, acknowledging the country’s current limitations in vaccine manufacturing. He highlighted the pressing need to invest in public health systems, especially after suffering immense economic setbacks amounting to over 7 trillion prior to and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
