For the third season of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) International T20 League, the franchises have hired many eminent cricketers including Fakhar Zaman.
Prominent players participating in the league include Jason Roy, Shai Hope, Lockie Ferguson, Ruston Chase, Matthew Wade, Ibrahim Zadran and Mario Shepherd while the third season of the event will be played in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah next year.
The window that opened in June to sign new players closed last Sunday, during which Desert Vipers signed the likes of Fakhar Zaman, Dan Lawrence and Lockie Ferguson.
Among the players retained from last season are Azam Khan, Mohammad Amir, Alex Hales, Luke Wood, Sheriff Rutherford and Wanandu Hasaranga.
Six teams are participating in the tournament, all of which have finalized their 15-man squads, including Desert Vipers, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Dubai Capitals, Gulf Giants, MI Emirates and Sharjah Warriors.
The third edition of the tournament will start from January 11 while the final will be played on February 9.
